My Experience in Providing Effective Paediatric Care.
After graduating from London in 1996 following my pre-clinical training at Oxford University, I worked in London where I developed an interest in respiratory medicine at the Royal Brompton Hospital.
After training as a registrar in Oxfordshire, I worked at the John Radcliffe Children's hospital for 2 years enabling me to develop my interests in respiratory medicine and allergies. As well as this, I worked within paediatric intensive care and neonatology.
After my time in Oxfordshire, I moved to Walsall as a consultant and set up an allergy service that’s still going strong. From Walsall, I re-located to Cambridgeshire and worked as a consultant a Hinchingbrooke Hospital for 5 years, specialising in allergy testing and treatments.
In 2014 I moved to Dubai to offer high quality, honest paediatric allergy services. In my short time in Dubai I’ve provided care and testing for asthma, food allergies, eczema and hay fever. Accurate advice is important in effective targeting of allergic diseases.
I'm married with one daughter and acted as an active school governor.
In my spare time, I put my clinical knowledge to good use contributing to regular Q&A sessions on Netmums. I offer advice for Healix, who offer healthcare-related solutions to the insurance industry and foreign office.I am also an active member of my college (Royal College of Paediatricians and Child Health) and examine doctors every year.
Over my time working within Paediatrics, I’ve become a fellow and member to several colleges and societies including:
Fellow of Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health
Member of European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology
Member of British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology
Member of British Paediatric Respiratory
